Terms and Conditions

1. Service Description

InstaHaul NC provides on-demand junk removal services in Wilmington, NC and surrounding 910 area code regions, including Leland, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Hampstead, and Castle Hayne. Our service includes:

  • AI-powered photo-based price estimates
  • Same-day pickup availability
  • Hauling and proper disposal of household junk and debris
  • Cash/Venmo/CashApp payment on-site for the remaining balance after deposit

2. Quote Estimates

Price estimates generated through our AI photo quote system are preliminary estimates only, not binding quotes. Final pricing is determined on-site based on actual volume, weight, access difficulty, special handling items, and landfill fees.

We will confirm the final price with you in person before beginning work. You are free to decline at that time — your deposit will be refunded.

3. Deposit Required

A $50 deposit is required to lock in same-day pickup service. This deposit:

  • Reserves your pickup slot and dispatches our crew
  • Applies as credit toward your final job price (you only pay the remaining balance on completion)
  • Is refundable if you cancel 2 or more hours before your scheduled pickup window
  • Is non-refundable if you cancel less than 2 hours before pickup, or if you are not present when the crew arrives
  • Is fully refunded if InstaHaul NC cancels (weather, equipment failure, etc.) or if you decline service after we provide an updated in-person estimate

For scheduled future-date pickups (not same-day), deposit is optional — you may book without payment.

4. Scope Adjustment

If our crew arrives and the job is materially different from the AI photo estimate (additional items, scope changes, prohibited items hidden in photos), we will provide an updated in-person estimate before beginning work. You may:

  • Accept the new price — your $50 deposit applies to the new total
  • Decline service — we refund your deposit in full
  • Modify scope (remove items) until we reach an agreed price

We will not begin work until you confirm the final price in person.

5. Items We Cannot Remove

For safety, legal, and environmental reasons, we cannot accept:

  • Hazardous materials (chemicals, paints, solvents, pesticides)
  • Asbestos
  • Medical waste, sharps, biohazardous material
  • Live ammunition, explosives
  • Items containing animal/human remains
  • Stolen property
  • Items the landfill prohibits per North Carolina law

6. Scheduling and Cancellation

Booking: Submit your request through instahaulnc.com or by replying to our text. We respond within 30 minutes during operating hours (7 AM - 9 PM, 7 days a week).

Same-day pickup: When booked before 5 PM and deposit is paid, we strive to complete pickup within 2 hours of booking.

Cancellation: Cancellations 2+ hours before pickup receive full deposit refund. Cancellations less than 2 hours before forfeit the deposit.

7. Payment Terms

A $50 deposit is paid via credit/debit card through Stripe at the time of booking (for same-day service). Remaining balance is due on completion of the job.

Remaining balance accepted: cash, Venmo, CashApp. We do not accept checks or credit cards for the final balance. All deposits applied to final job price.

8. SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and checking the consent box on our quote form, you agree to receive SMS text messages from InstaHaul NC related to your junk removal service request, including pickup confirmations, scheduling updates, and arrival notifications.

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time. After you send STOP, you will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (910) 249-9306 or support@instahaulnc.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any services.

9. Property and Liability

You represent that you own (or are authorized to dispose of) all items you ask us to haul. You are responsible for ensuring nothing of value is mixed in with junk. Once an item is loaded into our truck, it cannot be retrieved.

We exercise reasonable care during pickup but are not liable for incidental damage to floors, walls, doorways, or property during normal hauling operations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstaHaul NC and BlueRing Holdings LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service.

11. AI Disclaimer

Our AI photo quote system is provided for convenience. AI estimates can be wrong due to image quality, hidden items, or unusual configurations. The final in-person estimate from our crew supersedes any AI estimate.

12. Service Area

We currently serve Wilmington, Leland, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Hampstead, Castle Hayne, Ogden, Monkey Junction, and Porters Neck, NC. Service outside these areas may be available with a travel surcharge.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Hanover County, NC.
